I don't know about you, but I have missed many scholarship opportunities because of printer issues, missed deadlines, or lost paperwork.
Never again.
On March 1, the DCCCD Foundation will launch
myScholarships, DCCCD's new online scholarship application system. Yes, it is
completely online.
Here's how it works: You fill out
one simple (and secure) scholarship application online. This takes a few short
minutes. You are then automatically considered for multiple financial award opportunities, including scholarships based on academic excellence, financial need, leadership and achievement, to name a few.
myScholarships Details & Deadlines
To access myScholarships visit foundation.dcccd.edu/scholarships. The application period for Fall 2016 scholarships is
March 1 - June 1, 2016.
Insider tip: Answer the additional
supplemental questions to check your eligibility for additional scholarships. Also, check out
keyword search to explore all the scholarships in the system.
Kramp, LeCroy and Muse Scholarships
The
Kramp,
LeCroy and
Muse scholarships will
not be included in the new myScholarship online application system this spring. To apply for these scholarships, you must submit the hard-copy application forms by
April 1, 2016. You can access the print application forms for each of these scholarships by selecting the links above.
Insider tip: If you are submitting letters of recommendation with your scholarship application(s), do not wait until the last minute. Give the person recommending you adequate time to write your recommendation letter.
