Kasey Shaw is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and she began her career as a counselor in February 2016 for the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children in Waco, Tx. Shaw provided counseling services for victims of crimes, primarily survivors of sexual violence. In February of 2017, Shaw was assigned to provide mental health ounseling and case management services for victims of human trafficking in the Heart of Texas region as a partnership with the Heart of Texas Human Trafficking Coalition. During this time she advocated in community organizations including serving as co-chair of the partnership subcommittee of the Heart of Texas Human Trafficking Coalition. Shaw is currently providing counseling services for children and adults in an out-patient private therapy group setting at The Oaks Life Center, located here in the DFW area. She is a graduate of Baylor University, and has given numerous lectures on human trafficking. She continues to provide metal health services for survivors of human trafficking as opportunity presents.
