This video will demonstrate how to change your challenge question in eConnect.
You can change your challenge question at any time.
However, you must be able to answer your current challenge question in order to modify it.
To change your challenge question: First navigate to the eConnect Main Menu page at https://econnect.dcccd.edu.
In the upper right, click Log in.
On the Log In page, enter your student ID and password, and then click the Submit button.
Click Current Credit Student Menu.
Click the Update My Challenge Question link, which is located in the My eConnect Account section of the page.
Enter the answer to your current challenge question, and then click the Submit button.
Use the Questions drop down menu to select a challenge question.
Enter your answer to the question and then re-enter your answer in the next field.
If you want to enable enhanced security, make sure the Enhanced Security checkbox is checked.
When the Enhanced Security feature is on, you will need to provide the answer to your challenge question to use screens such as My Disbursements and Change My E-Mail Address.
When you're ready, click the Submit button.
A confirmation screen will appear.
Also, you should receive a confirmation email.
The email will be sent to the email address the Admissions Office has on file in your student record.
Now that you are finished, you can use the buttons at the bottom of the page to return to the Student Menu or to log out.
