Theater and CORE Curriculum

Starting this fall, many courses in the discipline of theatre may be chosen as a part of the student’s core requirements to complete graduation.  They are included as choices for selection in the following tiers:  

Tier One: Wellness and the Human Experience

This learning category allows you to explore a wide range of courses related to who you are and how you relate to the world. The courses offer an opportunity for you to examine your physical, social, financial, intellectual, emotional and aesthetic well-being.

  • DRAM 1322 Movement for the Stage 
  • DRAM 1330 Stagecraft I 
  • DRAM 1351 Acting I 

Tier Two: Humanity, Creativity, and the Aesthetic Experience

This Learning category focuses on the value of literature, philosophy, and the visual and performing arts. You will be able to critically analyze and form artistic judgment about the arts and humanities.
