Student Work

Part of the Mountain View College art studio experience is the regular exhibition of work, both informally and formally. Art Appreciation courses participate in a formal exhibition of photographic work each semester, and studio students also present the best of their work in a formal exhibition each semester. Additionally, in the summer, studio students apply for the Summer Student Exhibition Series (Summer I and Summer II) where the best of students' efforts are celebrated.
Additionally, each year up to ten MVC studio students are selected to participate in the National League for Innovation Art Exhibition held at Mountain View College. Also, each year one student is selected to represent MVC as the Fordham Scholar for Excellence in Art, and two students are selected to compete in the Edith Baker Scholarship Competition.
