Stephanie Ayers, M.S.N., RN, BLS

Stephanie Ayers holds a master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis in nursing education from Texas Woman’s University. She earned bachelor’s degrees in nursing from Texas Woman’s University and in business administration from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She also earned associate degrees in nursing at El Centro College and in business and accounting from Palm Beach Junior College in Ft. Worth, Fla.

She began teaching as an adjunct faculty member at Mountain View in 2012 before she was hired as a visiting scholar, and has taught at TWU as well as at Eastfield College in continuing education. She is currently an emergency nurse at Baylor Medical Center at Garland, where she also teaches Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

She is certified in Pediatric Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, trauma nurse core curriculum and emergency nurse pediatric core curriculum, and was a Johanna Briggs Nursing Research comprehensive systematic reviewer. She is a member of the Emergency Nurse Association and Sigma Theta Tau International.
