Michael J. Tydlaska holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and three master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas in accounting, business administration/finance and international management studies.A certified public accountant (CPA), certified fraud examiner (CFE) and forensic certified accountant (FCPA), he has served as an independent accounting contractor since 2005 and a professor of accounting at Mountain View since 2002. He has served as an adjunct accounting lecturer at SMU, UT-Arlington, UT-Dallas and Amberton College.
Professional experience includes serving as chief financial officer for the Dallas Inter-tribal Center for six years; and as auditor, senior accountant and general ledger accountant for Jackson and Rhodes, ExecuTrain of Texas and Neiman Marcus.
He belongs to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Texas Society of Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants. He is working on a doctorate in business administration from North Central University in Arizona.
