Dr. Ryan McMahon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from St. Edward’s University; a Master of Arts degree in international relations from the University of San Diego; and a Ph.D. in political science from Washington State University in Pullman. He began working in the DCCCD in 2013.
Previous teaching experience includes San Antonio College from 2011 to 2013; Texas A&M University-San Antonio from 2012 to 2013; Tarrant County Community College from 2013 to 2014; Richland College from 2013 to 3016; and Collin College from 2013 to 2016.
He holds a certificate for Quality Matters online teaching course and conducted a successful panel review for St. Mary’s University online teaching course. He is a member of the American Political Science Association, the Southern Political Science Association, and the Western Political Science Association.
He teaches GOVT 2305 and GOVT 2306.
