Nursing Degrees and Certificates

Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) is a full-time program that includes lecture, skills lab and clinical experience, with rotations involving both day and evening hours. Students begin hospital rotations the first semester after admission to the program and rotate through area hospitals, participating in a wide variety of procedures.

Acceptance is by a competitive selection process based on a weighted point system. The ADN programs prepare graduates to be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Examination to become licensed as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in Texas.
