Drama

Beyond developing artistic skills, theatre helps students to refine skills in collaboration, critical-thinking, creative problem-solving and effective communication. Drama classes at colleges of DCCCD may include introduction to theatre, stage movement, stagecraft, makeup, costumes, acting, voice for the theatre, theatre history and introduction to cinema.

Drama courses are listed under the four-letter rubric (course prefix) DRAM. Note: Drama is the official rubric name, although individual colleges may list courses as Theater or Theatre.

In a diverse and immersive laboratory environment, Mountain View theatre productions and performance experiences allow students to develop artistically while working with professionals from the DFW entertainment community both on and offstage.
