The purpose of MVC Computing Services is to support the mission of
the MVC community by providing computer support for the instructional
and administrative networks of the college and provide expert advice in
technology acquisition and deployment.
MVC Computing Services is dedicated towards providing a very
effective, efficient and reliable computer service to the total campus
community. This includes computer support for our students and
employees. We are able to achieve these goals by ensuring the department
is appropriately staffed to meet our ever changing challenges.
The department ensures the college computer infrastructure is
always ready and capable to meet the needs of our students and
employees. In so doing, the department indirectly contributes to the
following MVC goals and mission in the areas of :

- Effective, Efficient, and Accountable Business and Fiscal affairs.
Procedure for IT Assistance
The procedure for requesting technical support or IT related assistance from the MVC IT Department is to send a formal e-mail request to MVC DATA. E-mail requests to MVC DATA allow us to better manage and maximize our technical resources more efficiently to ensure prompt attention to your needs.
