Welcome to the Office of Community Outreach. We are responsible for identifying opportunities for the college to increase community visibility and engagement. Develop relationships that will lead to the achievement of the college’s academic, student support, and community relations goals. Serve as a member of community and civic organizations as a representative of the college. Serve as the point of contact for external use of college facilities and facilitate college tours for external groups. Serve as the liaison for college sponsored external events. Responsible for college emeritus center.
The mission of the Office of Community Outreach is to create opportunities for MVC to become the College of first choice for individuals who wish to pursue their academic and training needs in the Southwest geographical region of Dallas County. The goals of the Office of Community Outreach are to 1. Increase awareness of Mountain View College in the community, 2. To ensure the College is part of the fabric of the culture within the MVC service area and 3. Create a foundation for outreach activities within the service region.
