About Our Services

Mountain View College offers the following training programs, among many others.

  • Leadership, Management and Supervision Training classes are comprised of analysis and application of organizational theory, group dynamics, motivational theory, leadership concepts and integration of interdisciplinary concepts from the behavioral sciences. The training also provides a practical overview of supervisory management at all levels. Some training is available in Spanish. Command Spanish is provided to allow non-Spanish speakers to give work-related commands in Spanish (no Spanish language training required). 

  • Occupational Safety & Health Association/Occupational Safety and Health for the Construction Industry (OSHA) courses are designed for supervisors with safety and health responsibilities, foremen or anyone else involved in these general industries. Upon successful completion of the course(s), participants will receive an OSHA General Industry Safety and Health or Construction 30-hours certificate from the U.S. Department of Labor and a certificate of completion from Mountain View College.

  • Organizational Culture Change/Adaptation Certification for Small Business - Courses in Change Management and Workplace Diversity. Knowledge, skills and tools that enable a leader/organization to facilitate change in a participative style. Explanation of the progression of change from introduction to completion; barriers to successful implementation concerning internal and external stakeholders. Taps into effective communications; change management; conflict resolution, team building, time management and customer service. Examining generations in the workplace, gender, cultural background and other factors affecting coworker/client relationships. Includes behavioral expectations and standards in the business environment. Instructs on ways to adapt to demographic changes and the creation of an environment of inclusion.
