The Admissions Office coordinates the credit and non-credit registration processes and maintains official student records. It processes admissions applications, official degree plans, transcript requests, and student residency for tuition purposes.

Admissions – Services

  • Admits students – inputs formal application data and TSI status, accepts external transcripts, and issues conditional enrollment forms when appropriate
  • Determines residency – (In-district, in-state, out-of-state, out-of-country)
  • Change of name – name changes based on supporting documentation
  • Change of address – address changes based on supporting documentation
  • Provides student advising reports – contains student information on advisement and registration, print your advising report online: www.econnect.dcccd.edu
  • Provides registration directions – supplies specific registration directions to students

Student Records

  • Provides official transcripts – provides an official copy of a student's academic record
  • Verifies enrollment – verifies student's enrollment status (part-time or full-time enrollment status and withdrawal information)
  • Creates official degree plans – provides status information on courses completed and courses needed for completion of student degree plan
  • Enters any credit awarded for transfer, credit by examination, external learning, military, on-the-job, or life experience into the official degree plan
  • Awards degrees and certificates – awards appropriate degree or certificate based on official degree plan
  • Reinstates dropped students – re-registers student's that have been dropped in error
