Spring 2020 classes have resumed online. Please visit

learn how to prepare for online classes.
Let's take a look at how to use headings to create a similar structure in Blackboard.
Here I've typed a welcome message for my students and the message has a title and one subheading.
So I'll need to add heading styles.
I'll highlight the title and click the show more button from the paragraph drop-down menu.
I'll select heading.
From here I can make adjustments to the font size and color
Next I'll highlight the subheading.
To create a sublevel under the first heading I'll select subheading 1 and then make a few adjustments to the look of the subheading.
Okay, we're all set.
I'll just click Submit to save my changes.
Using heading styles has helped me to organize the presentation of both my syllabus and Blackboard message.
It has also made my content accessible and easily navigated by everyone.
