Yolanda Williams-Jones (2018)
Yolanda Williams-Jones has dedicated herself to a life of community service. She credits Mountain View College for the development of her leadership skills. A certified Texas school teacher and entrepreneur, Yolanda founded Healing Souls , a non-profit organization in San Antonio that allows her to advocate for victims of domestic violence. Additionally, she has mentored youth through the Boys and Girls Club and the Norris Wright Cuney Youth Group, and served as a volunteer with the San Antonio Battered Women’s and Children’s Shelter. Yolanda’s activities have allowed her to organize fundraisers for children and literacy events, raise awareness about gangs, and engage in efforts to combat physical and mental health issues in her community.
