Operational Memoranda – Adoption and Revision
Operational Memoranda are specific Mountain View College procedures designed to assist in carrying out DCCCD policies and procedures, as stated either in the Board of Trustees Policies and Procedures Manual or other District publications. Operational Memoranda are not designed to restate what is already in these other documents, but rather to incorporate procedures which might otherwise be in operation, but not in writing.
Operational Memoranda are designed to enhance communications. Employees are encouraged to make suggestions for updating existing Memoranda or creating new ones. Any employee of Mountain View College (MVC) may suggest the adoption of a new or the revision of an existing Operational Memoranda by contacting their College Council representative. Final approval is made by the College Council with subsequent placement on the Mountain View College website.
