Upward Bound is an academic program that provides opportunities for ninth and tenth grade students to develop his or her academic and testing skills, receive assistance with career planning, and to development self-esteem.
It is also a college preparatory program for students who come from a family where neither parent has earned a four-year college degree and/or is considered low-income based on income level guidelines set by the federal government. We offer free services to program participants such as tutoring, mentoring, career development, academic advising, financial aid information and etc. Students will also have the opportunity to visit colleges and universities, attend cultural activities and field trips.
