Rail ( http://dart.org/riding/dartrail.asp)
The DART Rail System provides fast, convenient service to work, shopping and entertainment destinations in Dallas, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Garland, Irving, Plano and Richardson. Plus, our TRE commuter line (http://www.trinityrailwayexpress.org/) links DART customers to DFW International Airport and downtown Fort Worth. Free parking is available at most rail stations, and most are served by DART bus routes specially timed to make transfers between buses and trains quick and easy.
Bikes on Bus & Rail
Biketrans commuting combines the cost-effectiveness of public transit with the health benefits of cycling. DART buses have bike racks on the front of the bus; any DART rider may use these racks. Bicycles brought on board DART Rail or the TRE must be placed in the area designated for disabled customers, provided it is not occupied.
If riding a DART bus or train doesn't fit your schedule, you can still save time and money in our carpool and vanpool programs. Our free RideShare computerized match list puts you in touch with other commuters with similar schedules and travel habits who want to share the ride. Details are available at www.DART.org/vanpool
