In our continued efforts to improve service, The colleges of DCCCD Financial Aid is making significant changes to the way we do business.
Here’s what you can expect:
Financial Aid Call Center
We’ve created a central financial aid call center to answer your questions and point you in the right direction. The dedicated call center representatives can be reached at 972-587-2599 or by email at
facc@dcccd.edu.
Call center hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. (Note: We are receiving a high volume of calls from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Please call during nonpeak hours if possible for faster service.)
College Services
Financial aid representatives will still be available on campus to assist you with questions and concerns.
New Financial Aid Verification Process
Some students who apply for financial aid will be selected for verification. If you are selected for verification, you will receive an email at the address you listed on your FAFSA explaining what you need to do to complete the process. Pleas review the email for instructions on how to verify your identity.
Other students may also be contacted by DCCCD so that we can address other specific issues, such as citizenship. So, it is important to note that it is possible that you may be contacted twice with requests for information before we can verify your financial aid.
Have Questions?
If you need more information about these changes, please contact the Financial Aid Call Center at 972-587-2599.
Under a Texas law, students who enroll in a Texas public institution of higher education (including at any college of DCCCD) for the first time in fall 2007 or later
may not drop more than six courses during their entire undergraduate career.
