As a result of Senate Bill 1231 during the 80th Texas Legislature section 51.907 that apply to:
Students from any Texas public institution of higher education may not drop more than six courses during their entire undergraduate career. All “College-Level” courses dropped after the official drop and add period for the course will be included in the six-drop limit.
