The program offers an assortment of workshops, field trips and conferences, local and national speakers and challenge courses designed to allow students to experience a voyage through co-curricular studies. Map your own membership! Community college students are extremely busy, but that doesn't mean you can't get involved! In this program you can design your own membership commitment level around your schedule. You can complete your membership commitment in one or two semesters and if need be, you may change your membership status or Membership Levels:

- SILVER MEMBER — Complete 6 Odyssey activities
- BRONZE MEMBER — Complete 4 Odyssey activities

“True Colors” Personality Identification Workshop True Colors is a metaphor for understanding human behavior. True Colors translates complicated personality and learning theory into practical information that is easy to understand. This fun and interactive workshop is an excellent tool for students wanting to learn more about their personality type. It is also useful in identifying majors and careers that are compatible with their personalities Friday September 11 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. Room W38
"How to Run an Effective and Creative Meeting" This workshop will teach leaders and others how to be creative, yet effective as they put together agendas for club meeting. They will learn how to have fun, and at the same time pass on important information at their meetings. Tuesday September 22 2 – 3:30 p.m. Room W38
"Leave a Legacy" Goals Setting Mission Statement Workshop This mission statement workshop is designed for students to learn how to write a statement of purpose that can be used to initiate, evaluate, and refine all life activities. A personal mission statement serves as a road map, guiding you to successful life and career decisions and your interaction with others. Monday October 12 12:30 - 1:50 PM Room W38
"Putting Your Knowledge to Work" - (Habitat for Humanity) The activity will be a community service project allowing students who have completed some of the Odyssey Leadership Institute to put what they have learned about leadership to practice. Networking 101* (Caminos) No need to shy away from business networking if you know how to do it properly. This workshop will prepare students for learning how to meet and greet people, while taking advantage of networking opportunities. Business networking is a skill and in its most advanced form it can truly be considered an art in itself. "Act with Integrity" Business Ethics and Relationships Workshop This program helps leaders understand the benefits of ethical behavior and to apply ethical principles in their roles as leaders. Using a well-defined system of understanding ethical decisions and choices, the program helps participants know how to choose the most ethical choices. It examines the concept of organizational social responsibility, seeing how values-based organizations today let principles and values guide them in day-to-day decisions and how they avoid wrong behaviors and take active steps to do what’s right. "Flexible in the Face of Change" Conflict Resolution Workshop This workshop begins with the idea that conflicts cannot be avoided and how you can actually propel innovation if handled effectively. This workshop gives participants the tools to face conflicts fearlessly and remain neutral while navigating toward a positive outcome. Participants will learn to recognize a conflict as it arises and address the fundamental issues effectively; understand one’s own conflict resolution style and define a path toward improvement; practice diffusing tense situations and diagnosing core issues. Team Building (Caminos) "Working as a Community"* Effective teamwork is certainly the most important element in successful and productive companies. Participating in this workshop will give you insight to the importance of team building, understanding other’s strengths and weaknesses, and give you great ideas that will leave you better equipped to work with new and different people.
