Counseling CONTACT US

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the Counseling Center is to help continuing and prospective students identify their educational goals, to facilitate their success in achieving these goals, and to provide professional assistance with obstacles encountered.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The Counseling/Advising Center is designed to help students select appropriate courses and programs to meet their career and educational goals. Our faculty counselors, who are LPC’s (Licensed Professional Counselors), are also available to help students in need of personal counseling. Counselors and academic advisors can assist students in selecting courses of study, determine transferability of courses, choose or change careers, gain independence, and confront problems of daily living.

You can register online if you have a TSI (Texas Success Initiative) status of complete, wavied or exempt, are in good standing and have no college blocks and have an e-mail address on file in the Admissions Office.
