- Yes. Students are allowed to take courses at other DCCCD campuses while enrolled at Mountain View College as long as half or more of their credit hours are in Mountain View classes.
- Permission to do so must first be obtained from Mountain View College.

Requests for copies of academic transcripts can be made at the Admissions/Registrar’s Office. Mailed requests are also honored. Transcript requests should include the name, student colleague ID or social security number (optional), address and phone number of the student, number of copies needed, the name and address of the place where the transcript is to be sent, the student’s signature, and the date requested. A copy of the student’s picture ID needs to accompany the mail-in requests.
The turnaround time for transcripts is 24 to 48 hours, except during peak registration. Students picking up their transcripts will need to provide proof that it is their transcript—that is, a picture ID card.
If ordering a transcript by mail, the following information is required:

Materials required for transcript request:
- Full name, student colleague ID or Registrar’s Office social security number (optional) and phone number.
Address where transcript(s) should Be mailed.
- Signature upon request.
- Copy of driver’s license, or some form of official ID, i.e. military, employee, or student.

- For continuing students, the summer term is optional.
