DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Contract Training Services provides the interface between the college and businesses. CTS began at MVC in 1980 to foster links between business industry and education by providing responsive training programs to companies and organizations in the area. Contract Training Services is here to guide you through the process of assessing your training strategies as they relate to your organizational goals and to provide you with the state-of-the-art education and training opportunities to reach those goals

Welding and Airport Safety and Operations Training

The Welding Technology program is designed to educate students in the basic process of oxyacetylene and arc welding, plus specialized welding applications as options to fit the specific needs of your business.  Instruction is offered in related support areas such as metallurgy, tooling, drafting, pattern layout and characteristics of materials.  Our program offers preparation for both entry-level jobs as well as welding inspectors.

CTS also offers the only Airport Safety and Operations Training in Texas.   See also our MVC News Release about Airport Safety and Operations.
