The Campus Crime Watch Program was instituted on the Mountain View College campus to help provide a safer environment for the faculty, staff and students through communication and education. The faculty, staff and students are the components of our community at Mountain View College. The Campus Crime Watch Program is designed to allow everyone in our community to take a proactive role against crime and learn ways to improve the quality of life on our college.
The program works by establishing a network of “Block Captains” who organize the faculty and staff in their assigned area of responsibility. They also communicate with other Block Captains to schedule occasional joint meetings or pass on useful information to their respective group during regularly scheduled meetings. Here at Mountain View College, the block may consist of an entire building (i.e. Workforce Development Building) or predetermined sections (sectors) of a larger building. The current Block Captains are listed below.
