Answer: You may contact the Professional Development Office at any time to request a copy of your progress report. Also, you may get direct access to Conductor on your desktop computer. Submit a work order to MVC Data, and contact the Professional Development Office for your password.
Question: There seems to be several items missing on my progress report in Conductor. How do I fix it?
Answer: Submit Professional Development Activity Forms for the items that are missing. The forms are available on our website under “Receiving Credit.”
Question: There seems to be several items missing on my Staff Enrichment Transcript in eConnect. How do I fix it?
Answer: The Staff Enrichment Report includes only the classes that are offered through district Organizational Development.
The Conductor tracking system serves as the official record-keeping database for all MVC professional development, and should reflect all your activities. Also, be advised that your Staff enrichment classes in eConnect will not automatically show up in Conductor. You may submit Professional Development Activity Forms for any Staff Enrichment items that are missing.
Question: Are my credit hours reported to anyone throughout the academic year?
Answer: The professional Development office generates quarterly reports using the Conductor tracking system. These reports include individual progress summaries which show the cumulative number of reported credit hours for each employee, as well as the specific items attended during the current academic year. The president, vice presidents, deans and division supervisors receive copies of the reports.
Question: How do I register for district Staff Enrichment classes?
Log on to eConnect as an employee
Choose “Register for Staff Enrichment”
In the term drop-down box, select the current term
Leave location blank
Enter course in the Course field
Enter course number in the Course # field
Enter section number in the Section # field
Select course by checking the Select Section Box to the left and click “submit”
You will receive a confirmation showing that your registration was successfully received
Question: How can I request Colleague classes and other software training?
Answer: The software training schedule is produced on a monthly basis. You may contact the professional Development Office to request the specific classes that you need.
