Come to Quito in June to learn Spanish and escape the summer heat!
Quito, at an elevation of 9,350 feet, has a fairly constant cool climate because of its elevation and proximity to the equator. The colonial center of Quito dates back to the 1500s, and it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978. Mountain View College’s Spanish program in Quito, Ecuador will allow students to study Spanish in an intense and concentrated manner for three weeks (June 6 - 28, 2015). Students will be completely immersed in the Spanish language and culture by:
- Studying Spanish and living in an area where the first language is Spanish,
- Staying in homes of local residents during the three-week course where only Spanish is spoken,
- Being required to speak only Spanish at the language institute, and
- Having the opportunity to use their Spanish on a daily basis.
