Department Description
The Mountain View College Art Department offers a range of studio courses from painting, drawing, photography, ceramics and design as well as lecture courses in art appreciation and art history. The art department serves a multitude of students, including art majors intending to transfer to a four year institution, artists seeking professional development, students seeking credit towards partial fulfillment of a degree or other students attending for personal enrichment. The Art Department also provides the exhibition of art through its gallery program for the community at large.
